Brand New!! CardioLineDanceª
Classes Brand New!!
CardioLineDanceª is the
brainchild of Bracken Ellis Potter who resides in San Diego, California.
CardioLineDanceª combines the benefits of cardio exercise with the fun of line
dancing and has been designed with the idea in mind that students want to
maximize their dance time. With the CardioLineDanceª Program, you dance 2-4
walls of each dance included in a particular "routine." By doing so,
you can dance 12-15 dances in 20 minutes instead of the usual 5-7. Each CardioLineDanceª
routine is danced nonstop to a pre-mixed 20 minute audio track comprised of a
variety of favorite line dance songs. There are two "levels" to
choose from depending on dance ability: the Absolute Beginner Program and the
Original CardioLineDanceª Program. Both levels incorporate a warm up, a cool
down, and the 20 minute cardio workout, while still leaving time to work on
learning and reviewing individual line dances. I spent some time with Bracken in Raleigh doing this program
and am in the process of being certified as a CardioLineDanceª instructor
through the program.
The Absolute Beginner
Program is intended for those students who have never line danced before or are
just starting out and know a limited number of dances. YouÕll be dancing within 10 seconds! Best of all, when each routine is
finished, students will know the steps for some beginner level line dances.
The Original CardioLineDanceª Program is intended for those
students who have some experience line dancing and know a moderate selection of
dances. Each Original Routine is comprised of 12-15 line dances forming a 20
minute cardio workout. At the moment, CardioLineDanceª is being offered at both
north and south locations with more classes being added on in coming months.
