AUGUST 2007
NEWSFLASH!!!!!!
I'm
so pleased to let everyone know that at the moment, we have 66 people booked on
our New Attitude Line Dance cruise to the Mexican Riviera in April. We have room for approximately 30 more
people.
Because
I am expecting this cruise to sell out, I have tentatively added another
instructor to the cruise! I'll
keep you guessing for the moment :-) Those of you who have already booked will
be very glad that you did. You've
got your cabin secured. Those of
you who have been sitting on the fence, trying to decide if you should or
shouldn't.......you need to book
as there are a very limited number of cabins left in various categories. There are a few inside cabins left,
some balconies and possibly one or two outside.
We
are already so lucky to have Michele Perron as a guest instructor on this
cruise. She is a dynamo and has
received so many accolades for her dancing and choreography. We are so privileged to have her for
the week! I am always in awe of her when I go to events where she is
instructing. Who needs to
dance.....I just want to watch her!
How can such a tiny woman dance like she does!
As
if that isn't enough..........
it's
coming.......
.......ta
da!
I
have now also tentatively booked Gerard Murphy as an additional instructor.
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to take a class from Gerard know
that he is a winner with his choreography and dance instruction. He is also one
of the nicest people I've met in the line dance world and I'm so pleased that
we may be able to add him on. It
was important for me to bring in Canadian choreographers and really, we will
have the best of the best on this trip - wouldn't you agree? We'll have the east and west
represented, male and female, short and tall......you get the picture!
OK.....so
you saw above that Gerard is a "tentative" instructor. It means that I can only bring him on
if we sell all the cabins. If our
target number is reached by November 26th (the second deposit date), Gerard
will be booked and committed. If
we do not sell out and people have booked hoping he's an additional instructor,
they still have the option to cancel.
It also then frees Gerard up to take other event bookings as I can't
expect him to hold on hoping that we'll reach our quota.
Now
- those of you who've booked are saying "YAY!"....right? Those of you who haven't are saying
"I need to get booked".....right? Get your booking in.
You lose nothing by putting your deposit down. Carnival has just given us an extension of our first deposit
date. You now have until AUGUST
19th (this week!) to get your $50 fully refundable deposit in.
For
information on the cruise and prices for various categories, please go to my
website at http://www.newattitudelinedance.com and click on the cruise
link on the left. If you have any
questions or concerns about the cruise, if you need to have a roomie to go
with, etc, please feel free to contact me. I do have some singles needing to match up with someone and
have one male dancer going who is looking for a male roomie if there is another
single guy out there interested in going.
Those
of you from near and far considering going will meet a lot of fun, outgoing
line dancers and make new friends.
We'd love to have you join us on what promises to be a wonderful cruise.
Workshops
and dance evenings are in the process of being scheduled. If anyone wants to see a sample of
dayÕs itinerary, you can go to http://travel.webshots.com/album/559623406SpeYGR
and look at daily itineraries and see there is no shortage of things to do. IÕm
looking forward to combining my two favorite thingsÉÉline dancing and cruising
and to be able to do this with friends.
IÕm so glad to see many spouses coming on this cruise and hope this will
be the time we get some of them out to a beginner workshop and see just why we
love line dancing so much!
I
am also currently negotiating a group rate at Best Western Long Beach as our
pre-cruise hotel and will have 35 rooms available to book soon so stay tuned
for more info!
